The wellhead and the production equipment attached to it carry the pressure, control the flow and support the well for its working life. We investigate sourcing for wellhead assemblies, Christmas trees, casing and tubing heads and hangers, surface chokes, flowline components and artificial lift equipment.
These items are specified tightly: pressure rating, temperature class, material class and product specification level all affect what can be supplied. The clearer the specification you send, the more reliable the comparison of manufacturers we can give you.

What to include in your RFQ
- 01Working pressure rating and temperature class
- 02Material class and product specification level (PSL), if your specification names them
- 03Bore size, casing and tubing sizes and connection types
- 04Single or dual completion, and number of wing valves required
- 05Fluid composition, including any H2S or CO2, and sour-service requirements
- 06For pumping units: stroke length, load rating and gearbox torque
- 07Drawings, data sheets or photographs of existing equipment

These standards are common reference points when a requirement is written. Listing one here is not a statement that LB or any supplier holds a certificate or licence. If your requirement calls for certified or monogrammed products, say so in your RFQ and we will investigate whether suitable manufacturers can meet it.

About Wellhead & Production Equipment
What is a product specification level (PSL) and do I need to state it?
PSL is the API 6A grading of quality and testing requirements for wellhead and tree equipment, from PSL 1 to PSL 4. If your procurement specification names a PSL, a material class or a temperature class, state it in your RFQ so we can check it against what manufacturers can offer.
Do you source wellhead equipment for sour service?
Sour service (H2S) affects material selection. State the expected H2S and CO2 levels and any NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 requirement in your RFQ. We investigate whether suitable manufacturers can meet it and report what we find.
Are you limited to the categories shown on this site?

Are you a manufacturer, and do you hold stock?
No to both. We are a sourcing company: we work with suitable manufacturers in China and primarily operate requirement by requirement, not from ready stock.
