A valve is only fully described by its type, size, pressure rating, end connections, materials and the service it will see. We ask for those details early because they decide which manufacturers are worth comparing.

What to include in your RFQ
- 01Valve type, nominal size and pressure rating or class
- 02End connections: flanged, butt-weld, threaded or hub
- 03Body and trim materials, and any sour-service requirement
- 04Service fluid, temperature range and any abrasive or corrosive content
- 05Manual operation or actuator type, with supply pressure or voltage
- 06The standard the valve must meet, for example API 6A or API 6D
- 07For manifold parts: the manifold drawing or part list, with working pressure

How do I specify a gate valve in an RFQ?
Give the type, nominal size, pressure rating or class, end connections, body and trim materials, service conditions and the standard it must meet, and say whether it needs an actuator. A drawing or the nameplate data of an existing valve is a good starting point.
Can you source parts for choke and kill manifolds?
Yes, manifold parts are part of this category, including spools, crosses, tees, gate valves and chokes. Send the manifold drawing or part list with the working pressure and connection details.
Are you limited to the categories shown on this site?
