Drilling & Well Intervention Equipment
Heavy-duty machinery for drilling and well service, such as XJ workover units, cementing equipment, coiled tubing equipment and drill bits, plus rig tools and well control components.
What this category covers
Drilling and well intervention covers the surface equipment used to drill, service and maintain wells. We investigate sourcing for heavy-duty machinery such as XJ workover units, cementing equipment, coiled tubing equipment and drill bits, together with rig tools and components such as elevators, power tongs, manual tongs, kelly spinners, top drives, spiders, slips and dies, and BOP.
Requirements in this category are usually defined by rated capacity, depth and operating duty rather than by one catalogue number. We compare manufacturers against the specification you provide. Where a drawing or an existing unit is the reference, we work from that.
Equipment and parts we investigate
- Workover and well-service units, including XJ-type workover units
- Coiled tubing equipment
- Cementing equipment
- Drill bits
- Slickline units and related surface equipment
- Rig tools: elevators, power tongs, manual tongs, slips, spiders and kelly spinners
- Top drives and related rig components
- BOP and well control components
- Related spare parts
These are examples, not a stock list, and they do not limit what we can investigate. If your equipment or part is not listed, send us your requirements.
What to include in your RFQ
- 01Equipment type, rated hook load or working capacity, and operating depth range
- 02Power source and drive arrangement, and any mobility requirement
- 03For rig tools: pipe or tubing size range, load rating and connection type
- 04For drill bits: bit size and type, and the formation or application
- 05For BOP and well control components: bore size, working pressure and connection standard
- 06Applicable standards, inspection and documentation requirements
- 07Drawings, data sheets or photographs of an existing unit
Standards often referenced
These standards are common reference points when a requirement is written. Listing one here is not a statement that LB or any supplier holds a certificate or licence. If your requirement calls for certified or monogrammed products, say so in your RFQ and we will investigate whether suitable manufacturers can meet it.

About Drilling & Well Intervention Equipment
Can you source a replacement for an existing workover unit or rig tool?
Send the make, model and capacity, with photographs or drawings of the existing item. We investigate whether Chinese manufacturers offer a technically suitable equivalent. Alternatives require technical evaluation and customer approval where applicable.
Which details matter most when requesting a drill bit?
Bit size and type, the formation or application it will be used in, the connection type and the quantity. If you have a bit record or a drawing, include it.
Are you limited to the categories shown on this site?
No. The categories are examples of what we source. If your equipment or part is not listed, send us your requirements and we will investigate sourcing options.
Are you a manufacturer, and do you hold stock?
No to both. We are a sourcing company: we work with suitable manufacturers in China and primarily operate requirement by requirement, not from ready stock.
