Pumps, Compressors & Rotating Equipment
Equipment and spare parts for pumping, compression and power generation across upstream, midstream and downstream applications, including bearings and oil seals.
What this category covers
Rotating equipment moves fluid, compresses gas and generates power. We investigate sourcing of equipment and spare parts for pumping, compression and power generation across upstream, midstream and downstream applications, together with the bearings and oil seals that keep rotating machinery running on land and at sea.
For new equipment the process conditions define the selection: flow, pressure, fluid and duty. For spare parts the existing machine defines it: make, model, serial number and the worn part itself. We work from whichever you have.
Equipment and parts we investigate
- Centrifugal pumps
- Reciprocating and plunger pumps
- Screw and gear pumps
- Reciprocating and screw compressors
- Generators and generator sets, with engine drivers
- Couplings and gearboxes
- Bearings and oil seals
- Pump and compressor spares such as liners, pistons, valves, seats and impellers
These are examples, not a stock list, and they do not limit what we can investigate. If your equipment or part is not listed, send us your requirements.
What to include in your RFQ
- 01For pumps: fluid and its properties, flow rate, discharge pressure or head, and temperature
- 02For compressors: gas composition, capacity, and suction and discharge pressure
- 03For generators: power rating, voltage, frequency and fuel
- 04Driver type and power, and the area classification of the installation
- 05For spares: make, model, serial number, part list and photographs or drawings
- 06For bearings: designation or bore, outside diameter and width; for oil seals: shaft diameter, housing bore, width and lip material
- 07Materials, sealing arrangement and any required standard
Standards often referenced
These standards are common reference points when a requirement is written. Listing one here is not a statement that LB or any supplier holds a certificate or licence. If your requirement calls for certified or monogrammed products, say so in your RFQ and we will investigate whether suitable manufacturers can meet it.
- API Std 610: centrifugal pumps
- API Std 674 and API Std 675: positive displacement and controlled-volume pumps
- API Std 618: reciprocating compressors
- API Spec 11P: packaged reciprocating compressors
- ISO 281: rolling bearing rating life
- ISO 6194: rotary shaft lip-type seals
About Pumps, Compressors & Rotating Equipment
Can you quote spare parts for a pump if I only have the nameplate?
Nameplate details (make, model, serial number) plus a part list or photographs often let us start. Drawings or the worn part help confirm dimensions. We investigate and report what we find. Availability cannot be guaranteed.
What do you need to source a bearing or an oil seal?
For a bearing: the designation, or bore, outside diameter and width, plus any tolerance or clearance requirement. For an oil seal: shaft diameter, housing bore, width, lip material and operating temperature.
Are you limited to the categories shown on this site?
No. The categories are examples of what we source. If your equipment or part is not listed, send us your requirements and we will investigate sourcing options.
Are you a manufacturer, and do you hold stock?
No to both. We are a sourcing company: we work with suitable manufacturers in China and primarily operate requirement by requirement, not from ready stock.
